What the Swiss Game Developer Association (SGDA) can offer to you:

  • Support in finding a free workspace to continue your game development projects
  • Support in finding hardware sponsors to continue your game development projects
  • Individual support for administrative matters and contacts with authorities
  • Introduction to the Swiss game developer community
  • Support for access to Swiss universities
  • Translate and communicate in Ukrainian, Russian, English, German, French and Italian

What the SDGA cannot do:

  • Provide funding for your projects.
  • Offer a job as a game developer. However, we do our best in helping you find a job suiting your profile.

Information for refugees

Working conditions in Switzerland

  • Under the protection status “S” for refugees, you are entitled to work in Switzerland as an employee or as self-employed for at least one year.
  • You will get this status “S” for refugees, if you prove that you were a resident in Ukraine before 24th February 2022 or that you own a Ukrainian passport.

Accomodation

  • Swiss authorities make sure that everybody gets decent accommodation
  • Initial accommodation will also be provided by the Swiss Refugee Council and by volunteers.
