Gamanza is part of the Stadtcasino Baden Group and market leader in Switzerland for online casino technology. The group also operates Grand Casino Baden and Casino Locarno and with the first regulated online casino in the Swiss market. Gamanza Game Studios is a new venture and will develop innovative arcade casino games. The company has offices in Switzerland, Slovenia, Malta and Costa Rica. As one of the first employees of the new venture within an established and successful group you have the chance to shape the company.


  • Design, prototype and pitch game concepts based on vision as defined by the Creative Director / Studio Head
  • Shape the game’s vision, author the game design document(s) and communicate design ideas and mechanics to the dev team
  • Define, test and refine gameplay, flow and mechanics
  • Quickly prototype, test, and iterate new ideas, features, and game concepts
  • Adjust and balance the concepts and mechanics to make the game fun
  • Collaborate closely with the art and dev teams to optimize user experience (game flow, mechanics, HUD/UX/UI)
  • Develop and optimize game math
  • Define / track and fine-tune game balancing and progression curves
    Follow and research the market trends of casino games related to mechanics
  • Coordination with quality assurance and certification labs
  • Dream up new ideas, think outside the box


  • Bachelor or Master in Game Design or similar education/experience
  • Proficiency with game design, game flow, mechanics, balancing and related aspects of game design
  • Good knowledge of statistics
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the design of web-based games
  • Passion for games and game development
  • German and English (full working proficiency)
