Switzerland&#8217;s first initiative to create a law to support games will be up for vote"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sgda.ch\/announcements\/on-the-forefront-to-create-a-pioneering-film-game-and-media-support\/\">we announced the\u00a0pioneering initiative\u00a0last year<\/a>, we are proud to report that\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.filmundmediengesetz.ch\/\" target=\"_blank\">Switzerland&#8217;s first initiative to support games on a political and legal level<\/a> will finally be\u00a0up for vote in the canton of Zurich. The Representatives of the SGDA and our partner ZFF (Z\u00fcrich f\u00fcr den Film) have handed over\u00a09&#8217;000 collected signatures to the authorities. The citizens of Zurich will now be tasked to\u00a0vote about a new law that will include\u00a0support for games. Over six months the SGDA and ZFF have collected 3&#8217;000 signatures more than the 6&#8217;000 required.
